Chom Reap Sour! 🎉
Hey, book lovers! It’s been a couple of weeks since the Southeast Asian Water Festival in Lowell, MA, and wow, what a blast! I teamed up with the fabulous author Tracy Guan to showcase our latest books, and I’m here to share the excitement!
As we arrived, the delicious smell of beef sticks sizzling on the grill hit us, and the soothing chants of monks filled the air. The festival was a vibrant celebration of Southeast Asian culture, packed with music, dance, and mouthwatering food! The energy was electric as we set up our booth.
Having my own booth was a dream come true! 🎈 Tracy and I decorated our booth with colorful bookmarks, pins, and stickers, creating a treasure trove for festival-goers. It was amazing to see smiles and hear attendees say, “This healed my inner child!”
When people asked to interview us, Tracy and I were nervous. But then Om, a wise older gentleman, encouraged us to say yes. “You’re doing great work for Cambodian culture!” he said, and that gave us the boost we needed!
🎉 I sold out of books! 🎉 A HUGE thank you to everyone who pre-ordered at the festival! Meeting you all was a joy, and I’m so grateful for your support!
P.S.: Your orders are on track for October. So exciting!
